CHAMPAGNE AND FISH 'N' CHIPS...
After a great season, promotion was finally clinched last Saturday at Gay Meadow...
...celebrated by the travelling SULSESC faithful with a bottle of champagne and fish and chips on the train home...
But it doesn't stop there. The SULSESC darts team are hoping to make it a double promotion, and currently boast a 7-1 winning record. The next match is away to Blackpool on Monday 16th May, for those glory hunters wishing to get enough appearances in for a league winners medal!
And coming up in the summer, we have both the darts team day out in Brighton and the AGM to organise, so keep an eye on this space...

THE BUTLER DID IT
Andy Butler has won the SULSESC Player of the Season award for the second year running.
The Iron defender was a clear-cut winner in this year’s voting, and received his award at the presentation dinner at Glanford Park on Monday, May 2.

MEMBERSHIP
FOR the first time in the 18 year history of the London Supporters’ Club, membership has reached the 90-mark.
Well done to long-time member Russ Foster, who finally got around to rejoining in time to become member No. 90!
Is there time to top the magic 100 before the start of the new membership year on August 1? Only time will tell…
IRON FILINGS
THE latest edition of Iron Filings (No. 59, April 2005) is now out and all members should have received their copy by now. We hope to have issue No. 60 out shortly after this weekend’s final game of the season. Which brings us to…
THE BIG MATCH…
SULSESC’S allocation of 25 tickets from SUFC for the promotion decider at Shrewsbury on Saturday have all been taken.
Members are travelling north by train and car, and pub arrangements have been e-mailed out.
Orders for play-off semi-final tickets will then be taken from Monday onwards…
Only joking… see you all in League One next season!
